Program Structure
(10 week Program)
The program structure is as follows:
- Week 1: Collection of baseline statistics.
- Weeks 2-9: Intensive 8-week training focusing on improving speed, agility, and quickness.
- Week 10: Final assessment to measure improvements.
- 20-Yard Dash: This test measures speed and acceleration. It's crucial for sports where quick bursts of speed are essential.
- Triangle Cone Drill: This drill tests an athlete's ability to change direction quickly and efficiently. It's particularly beneficial for sports requiring agility and swift movements.
- 5-10-5 Drill: This exercise assesses lateral quickness and agility, essential for sports that require rapid direction changes.
- Vertical Jump: This test measures lower body strength and explosive power, key for sports where jumping is frequent.
- Broad Jump: Similar to the vertical jump, the broad jump assesses lower body strength and explosiveness, vital for activities requiring long-distance leaps or sprints.
